Welcome to the  PINK issue for Breast Cancer!

 

To support Breast Cancer Awareness month we have gone pink!! Breast Cancer affects 2.3 million women worldwide and this month is all about raising awareness and supporting prevention. 15% of this month's magazine sales will be donated to Breast Cancer UK. 

 

This month we have 9 amazing tutorials for you. The amazing cover cake by Minh Tang is based on a real life cancer survivor's tattoo and is so emotional and moving! Claudia Kapers' pink ribbon cake is all about the faith those affected from this disease must have and Aminath Nasheeda's multi-tiered pink themed cake showcases a multitude of textures and techniques. Adriana Olvera teaches us how to create a stunning boobie cookie and Jenny Bachhus creates a cake that highlights the importance of regularly checking yourself for any signs of change. We also have a gorgeous pink themed wedding cake from Sumaiya Omar, an applique style masterpiece from Anastasia Osipova, a delicate handcut lace tutorial from Pallavi Karan and a tasty treat from Miriam Pearson.

 

Also in this packed issue, we review Zoe Hopkinson's new book, we delve into Japanese culture with a stunning collaboration from Meriem Falek and we have an in-depth interview with our sweet friend Cristina Arevalo.
